Everyday cleaning
For routine upkeep, a damp microfiber cloth handles most soap film and water spots. Wipe in the direction of the finish and dry with a soft cloth to avoid streaks. Most pieces never need more than this.
When it needs more
For stuck-on residue, use a mild dish soap diluted in warm water. Apply with a soft sponge, rinse, and dry. Avoid the abrasive side of a sponge — it can dull a matte finish over time.
What to avoid
- Harsh solvents like acetone, bleach or alcohol, which can cloud or etch the surface.
- Abrasive powders and scouring pads that scratch matte finishes.
- Prolonged soaking — resin is water-resistant, not meant to sit submerged.
- Direct, sustained heat such as a hot styling tool resting against a piece.
Keeping dispensers happy
Pumps last longest when you refill before they run dry, which stops air from drawing soap residue up into the mechanism. If a pump stiffens, run warm water through it a few times to clear any dried soap.
Preventing water rings
On vanity trays and dishes, empty standing water rather than letting it evaporate. Mineral-heavy water can leave a faint ring; a quick wipe after use prevents it entirely.
Long-term storage
If you're packing pieces away, wrap each one separately in a soft cloth. Resin is durable but edges can chip if pieces knock together in a box.
